About Kate & Her Team

Kate Lydell
Kate is a qualified physiotherapist with over 20 years experience. She spent the early part of her career in London working in private clinics and completing her studies in clinical pilates and rehabilitation through the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute.
She has recently returned from a 4 year stint in Australia where she worked as a musculoskeletal and rehab therapist and headed up program development in pregnancy exercise at a women’s wellness centre on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.
Kate has returned to South Africa to further her studies on the impact of injury on self esteem. She is part of a growing number of Physio’s globally who are recognising the need to fully integrate physical, emotional and mental health in the care of their patients. She is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association’s Mental Health group and keenly observes the developments in this exciting new space.
